PepTalk Senior Client Partner

PepTalk is looking for a passionate Learning & Development/Leadership Development specialist with a strong sales background to join our team as a Senior Client Partner.  As our Senior Client Partner for Leadership Development and Workshops, you will work with existing and new clients to sell in and develop expert-led workshops catering to each company’s strategic learning needs. 

A deep understanding of the learning and development space and an ability to build strong client relationships while managing multiple projects at any given time is essential. You will need demonstrable experience growing revenue in customer accounts and customer spending over time. Ideally, you have a background working with corporate and enterprise-level customers. Reporting to the VP of Growth, you will be an active member of our customer growth team, working across a selection of accounts in all industries. 

Responsibilities:

  • Building, maintaining and managing a roster of clients to sell into and develop expert-led workshops with
  • Build deeper client relationships with an understanding of the client's learning objectives and goals for the year and how PepTalk works to help them with our solutions to their problems
  • Build your own sales pipeline and new meetings, actively seeking out new clients and opportunities within existing customer accounts
  • You engage with clients at all points of the sales cycle - from prospecting and acquiring clients through to presenting our solutions and products to negotiating, closing and then continuing the relationship 
  • Work with Client Development Manager (SDR) to target new clients with messaging and set new meetings
  • Work to a monthly sales target 
  • Working with our internal teams and bringing together internal resources that enable the successful closure of deals. 

Requirements and skills:

  • Expertise and experience working in the L&D, leadership development and HR space 
  • Experience in selling learning, HR or training products - working on parallel tracks within an account with different business stakeholders on the client side
  • Ability to build connections and relationships with clients
  • Strong communication, influences effectively and creates trust with the client and team
  • Takes initiative - sharp business acumen and the ability to identify client problems/needs and then sell our solutions
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas and negotiating deals
  • Able to work in a remote team and collaborate with other depts within our business
  • Experience updating and maintaining a CRM, Project management trackers, and expertise using outbound sales tools
