Adam Simmonds is an acclaimed celebrity chef who has made a significant impact in the culinary arts industry. Starting as a pot washer at a pub, Simmonds' hard work and determination propelled him to work at prestigious London hotels such as The Ritz, The Halkin, and The Lanesborough. In 2006, his talent was recognized when he earned his first Michelin Star at Ynyshir Hall in Wales. This achievement led him to establish his own restaurant, Adam Simmonds at Danesfield House, which is renowned as one of the finest dining establishments in the country. Simmonds' expertise has been acknowledged by   organizations such as the Good Food Guide, Michelin stars, and AA rosettes, solidifying his reputation as a highly respected figure in the culinary world.

Simmonds' passion for cooking began at a young age, inspired by the meals he shared with his family. Despite facing challenges with dyslexia, he found solace and fulfillment in the practicality and creativity of cooking. Starting from the bottom as a pot washer and sandwich maker, he pursued formal training at a catering college and gained valuable experience at renowned establishments such as Le Gavroche, The Ritz, and Marco Pierre White's restaurants. Through dedication and perseverance, he steadily worked his way up from an apprentice to sous chef, eventually becoming the head chef at The Greenway in Cheltenham. His exceptional skills and culinary flair earned him three AA rosettes and positive reviews from the Good Food Guide.

In 2006, Simmonds joined Ynyshir Hall, where he achieved his first Michelin star, four AA rosettes, and a high rating from the Good Food Guide. However, he decided to leave and reestablish himself at Danesfield House, where he obtained his second Michelin star, four AA rosettes, and another positive rating from the Good Food Guide.
