Andrew Bastawrous is a social entrepreneur, eye surgeon, and professor in global health. He has delivered two main stage TED talks, amassing over 2.5 million views, along with several TEDx talks. His 2014 TED Talk sparked global media interest and marked the inception of Peek Vision, a social enterprise focused on addressing the issue of over 1 billion people living with avoidable sight loss despite available treatments. This initiative stemmed from Andrew's personal experiences as a child, shaping his career as a surgeon, researcher, entrepreneur, and movement builder.
