His career spans Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America, where he has excelled in risk management, change, performance, and quality to help companies achieve their strategic and operational objectives. Asif's notable roles include the former Head of Diversity and Inclusiveness for EY Financial Services and the former Head of Equality, Diversity, and Human Rights Unit for the City of London Police. His contributions have significantly advanced diversity and inclusion initiatives, fostering an inclusive atmosphere in various organizations. In 2020, Asif transitioned from The Telegraph Media Group to become the Global Head of Diversity, Inclusion, and Social Impact at Adidas. He later joined Warner Bros. Discovery as Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer, overseeing renowned brands such as Warner Bros, CNN, Cartoon Network, and HBO Max. Asif's dedication to creating a sense of belonging and his ability to inspire and connect at all business levels have earned him numerous accolades, including an MBE for his services to Policing and Communities in 2017.
