Catherine Tyldesley | Speaker Biography

Catherine Tyldesley is a renowned actor and TV presenter, most recently seen starring in Channel 5’s new crime thriller A Good Ship Murder.

Known for her roles as Iris Moss in the BBC drama Lilies, Eva Price on the ITV soap opera Coronation Street from 2011 to 2018 and Karen Norris in BBC One sitcom Scarborough in 2019. Catherine has also starred in ITV primetime dramas, including Viewpoint and Macdonald and Dodd

As a television personality, Catherine participated in the seventeenth series of Strictly Come Dancing and was partnered with Johannes Radebe. In 2021 she showed off her cooking skills in Cooking With The Stars as well as her incredible vocal ability by winning All Star Musicals at Christmas, both on ITV1.

She has presented three Tonight programmes and fronted 100 Greatest Walks, both for ITV and regular cooking segments on Lorraine. And she has shown off her vibrant personality on popular shows such as Catchphrase, The Hit List, The Chase, Celebrity Antiques Roadtrip and more.

Commercially, Catherine is an ambassador for Easy Jet and One Truth 818, as well as working alongside major brands such as Very, Littlewoods, Fairy, Tonies, Vodafone, Fisher Price, Symprove, Matalan and Tesco.
