Chris Skinner is a well-known professional football player in the Canadian Football League. He played for eight seasons as a running back and receiver. Chris was selected by the Edmonton Eskimos in the first round of the 1984 CFL Draft and had a great season in 1986, earning a nomination for the CFL Schenley Award. He was part of the Eskimos team that won the Grey Cup in 1987. Throughout his career, Chris played for the Edmonton Eskimos, Ottawa Rough Riders, and British Columbia Lions, scoring 24 touchdowns and gaining 2,850 rushing yards and 2,874 receiving yards. He was inducted into the Saint John Sports Hall of Fame in 1997 and the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame in 2003, often recognized as the best football player ever developed in New Brunswick. After retiring, not much is known about Chris's post-football career.
