Daliso Chaponda is a Malawian-British stand-up comedian and BBC Radio 4 host known for turning sharp observation on identity and belonging into widely shared comedy.
He created and hosts the BBC Radio 4 show Citizen of Nowhere, reached the finals of Britain's Got Talent in 2017 with performances viewed more than 300 million times online, has appeared on QI, Have I Got News For You, and Celebrity Mastermind, which he won in January 2025, and joined Helen Lederer on BBC Two's Pilgrimage: The Road Through the Alps.
