Dr Hazel Wallace is the founder of The Food Medic, an NHS medical doctor, registered nutritionist (ANutR), and bestselling author. She started 'The Food Medic' as a blog in 2012 as a medical student. She aimed to bridge the gap between conventional medical advice and the latest thoughts and developments in nutrition and other areas of lifestyle medicine. Over time, the blog has expanded to include various other platforms and publications such as social media, books, and a podcast. Dr. Hazel is particularly passionate about the use of exercise as medicine, which she discussed in her Tedx Talk. In addition to her medical qualifications, she is also a qualified personal trainer. She has authored two books and regularly interviews leading experts on her podcast, The Food Medic.
