Emeka Okorocha

Dr Emeka Okorocha is a highly respected Medical Doctor at the NHS who gained national recognition during the Covid-19 lockdown for his informative TikTok videos. With a large following of over 250,000 TikTok followers, he has become one of the top ten TikTok educators in the UK. Dr Emeka has also been involved in the It Starts on TikTok campaign, which was featured on billboards nationwide. 

In addition to his online presence, Dr Emeka is a sought-after speaker who shares his expertise on physical and mental health and dispels common myths found on social media. Coming from a family of doctors, he studied Medicine at the University of East Anglia and promoted healthy living through his role as a Sports Coordinator. Dr Emeka's career has included appearances on BBC's Junior Doctors, showcasing his skills and progression as a junior doctor. He has also worked with the BBC to promote healthcare tips on BBC3. Alongside his work with the NHS, he is a Medical Doctor at Bespoke medispa, a private medical service. 

Passionate about sharing healthy lifestyle advice, Dr Emeka has authored a book called Your Health in Your Hands. He is also known for his advocacy against racism, with his video urging people to accept him in hoodies and scrubs gaining global attention and establishing him as a prominent voice in the Black Lives Matter movement. 

Dr Emeka has collaborated with the NHS, the government, and leading fashion and fitness brands on various health campaigns. He has been recognized for his achievements, including the Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts Young Achiever's Award and the Young Medical Doctor of the Year by the Creative Faith Academy Awards in 2021.
