George Serafeim is a well-known Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School, focusing on Environmental, Social, and Governance strategies. He earned his doctorate from Harvard, where his dissertation won the Wyss Award for excellence. He also has a master's degree in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics, where he received the Emeritus Professors’ Prize for outstanding academic performance. Currently, George is the Jakurski Family Associate Professor at Harvard, teaching in MBA, executive education, and doctoral programs. He leads the elective course “Reimagining Capitalism: Business and Big Problems,” which has received awards from the Aspen Institute and the Grand Page Prize.
