Gonzalo Delacámara is a senior economist with 28 years of experience across more than 80 countries. He serves as the Director of the Centre of Water & Climate Adaptation at IE University and focuses on the economic management of natural resources in relation to development.

As the Academic Director of the Water Economics Forum, he engages in public debates with Nobel Laureates in Economics and Peace. Recently, he was appointed as Ambassador of Water Europe and serves on various scientific and advisory boards.
