Itay Talgam

Itay Talgam is a renowned inspirational speaker and orchestral conductor. He is known as a "conductor of people" and has worked in various fields, such as government, academia, business, education, and therapy, where he aims to create harmony through cooperation. Itay has captivated audiences worldwide with his engaging presentations on leadership and innovation. He has been invited to speak at prestigious events like TED Global, Google's Zeitgeist, DLD, and the World Economic Forum, receiving overwhelming praise and delight. In addition to his speaking engagements, Itay is a prominent figure in the Israeli music scene and is passionate about contemporary music. Israel's Composers Association has recognised him with an honorary prize for his contribution to performing and promoting Israeli music. Itay is also the author of "The Ignorant Maestro: How Great Leaders Inspire Unpredictable Brilliance" (2015), a book that explores leadership nuances through the unique styles of six world-famous conductors. His work encourages leaders to embrace their ignorance as an advantage. As Music Director of the Tel-Aviv Symphony Orchestra and Musica Nova Consort, Itay has received the prestigious "Best Performance of the Year" award for Israeli orchestral music. He made his international debut in 1987 under the guidance of Leonard Bernstein, performing with the Orchestre de Paris. Since then, Itay has conducted numerous orchestras worldwide and was the first Israeli conductor to collaborate with the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra and the Leipzig Opera House. He has also performed and recorded with Israel's foremost orchestras, including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
