Josh Dobbs - Speaker

Finding success in both his studies and sport, Josh's determination to achieve whilst managing a hefty workload is all in a day's work for the NFL player. Throwing for 2,946 yards and 27 touchdowns against just 12 interceptions in his senior year, Josh is well respected on the playing field. An inspiration for the next generation, Josh graduated with an undergraduate degree in aerospace engineering in 2017- yes this does make him a rocket scientist! He was also awarded the school's highest undergraduate student honor, the 2017 Torchbearer Award. On top of his outstanding achievements, Josh is an advocate for Alopecia, a diagnosis he's had since he was in the third grade. Josh has said dealing with alopecia has taught him the ultimate form of self-confidence and the true meaning of a positive outlook when dealing with hardship whether that's on the football field or elsewhere. Josh is an inspiration to all when it comes handling his time on the football field, in class and developing his own positive outlook whilst helping others to do the same.
