Karun Chandhok is a former Formula 1 driver and Sky Sports F1 analyst who explains how elite teams turn data, engineering, and split-second judgement into results. He's one of only two Indian drivers to have raced in Formula 1.
Karun raced for Hispania Racing and Team Lotus in 2010 and 2011, after two race wins in GP2. He also finished sixth at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and raced in Formula E's first season with Mahindra. Today he analyses Formula 1 for Sky Sports and is the author of Drive to Victory, a book for young readers.
Off air, Karun consults for circuit designer Driven International on new tracks, circuit upgrades, and manufacturer driving centres. He also sits on the Motorsport UK board and its Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
