Kate Bright

Kate Bright has an extensive background in private security, with a career spanning 20 years. From 2000 to 2015, she underwent training in Close Protection (body-guarding) and served as a Chief of Staff to affluent international families in London. Subsequently, she established the highly acclaimed UMBRA International Group, a recruitment and concierge firm specializing in security. Her achievements in this field led to her nomination as a finalist for the Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year award in the 2019 Citywealth awards. In addition to her accomplishments in the private security sector, Kate is a strong advocate for gender diversity in business. She holds the esteemed title of Companion of the Institute of Leadership & Management and actively participates in the British Army Gender Advisory Council, which operates under the guidance of the Army's Gender Champion. As of 2021, she has become a Chartered Security Professional and has been granted the status of Freeman of the City of London.
