After battling with depression and anxiety during his teenage years, Matt stumbled upon a life of excitement and exploration through a serendipitous "yes". After completing his education, he unintentionally found himself in South Africa, where he spent almost a year working at a rehabilitation centre for injured wildlife. This experience ignited a deep passion for travel within Matt, prompting him to embark on a solo journey across Central America, braving treacherous jungles, volcanoes, and even the most dangerous city in the world.
Upon returning to the UK, Matt struggled to find fulfilment in mundane 9-5 jobs, prompting him to set his sights on transforming his passion for adventure into a career. Since then, he has successfully orchestrated and overseen a world record-breaking attempt for hand-cycling from Lands' End to John O'Groats alongside Paralympian Mel Nichols. Furthermore, Matt now leads groups of adventurous individuals around the globe, sharing his unwavering enthusiasm for exploration and discovery.
