In February 2018, Millie made the courageous decision to give up alcohol, as years of excessive partying and subsequent hangovers had started to negatively impact her mental well-being. This pivotal moment inspired her to create Sober Girl Society, an inclusive online and real-life community dedicated to empowering women who choose not to drink alcohol. 

Since its inception, Sober Girl Society has flourished into a robust community of 219,000 strong individuals. Millie's passion for her cause is evident through her hosting of SGS's signature events, including boozeless brunches and invigorating sober sweat classes held nationwide. 

Beyond these events, Millie actively collaborates with various organizations, including universities, to promote sober curiosity and dismantle the notion that an alcohol-free lifestyle is dull. Through her work, she strives to spread the powerful message that choosing sobriety can lead to a vibrant and fulfilling existence.
