Sindhu Vee - Comedian

Sindhu Vee is an award-winning comedian, writer, and actor. As a stand-up comedian, she has appeared twice on BBC's Live At The Apollo, most recently as host, and has featured on major British comedy panel shows such as Mock the Week, QI, Have I Got News For You, and Would I Lie to You? Sindhu has toured the UK and performed internationally, including at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. Her stand-up special Sandhog is available on Amazon Prime UK, and she recently filmed her second special based on her acclaimed show Alphabet.

In film, Sindhu played Mrs Phelps in the Netflix adaptation of Roald Dahl's Matilda, which received critical acclaim and became the number one Family Movie on Netflix in 88 countries. She is also the co-lead in the upcoming sitcom The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh, produced by Sony Pictures Television for Amazon Freevee. Sindhu appeared as Belkis in Kristin Scott Thomas's directorial debut, North Star, alongside Scarlett Johansson and Sienna Miller. Her other acting credits include The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, Starstruck, Sex Education, and Feel Good. 

Sindhu will star in the new romantic comedy Picture This for Amazon and will voice Mrs Mulji in the animated film That Christmas, written by Richard Curtis.
