Spencer Kelly is the BBC’s longest-serving and most experienced technology presenter and journalist. He has hosted Click, the BBC’s worldwide technology TV programme, since 2006. For over 20 years, Spencer has travelled the world, documenting how science and innovation are changing lives. He also presents the BBC Radio 4 series "Understand: Tech & AI".
Spencer is known for his informal style and easy-going humour, which help him explain technical topics to a broad audience. His passion for technology has led him to write, direct, and present hundreds of short films. He has won Tech Personality of the Year, narrowly lost Celebrity Mastermind, received an honorary doctorate of Technology, fronted Panorama, and presented at the BAFTAs.
