Tom Bosworth, OBE, is a two-time Olympic racewalker and triple world record-holding athlete. He was Captain of England Athletics for the 2018 Commonwealth Games, where he secured a silver medal.
In 2015, Tom became the first openly gay track and field athlete representing Team GB and has since campaigned for equality and inclusivity for the LGBTQ+ community. He is also a champion of mental well-being in sports following his battle with depression.
Away from the track, Tom has appeared on broadcast channels such as Eurosport and the BBC, including as a guest commentator and as a guest on ITV’s The Celebrity Chase. In 2022, the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham marked Tom’s last international race appearance, and he crossed the line to a standing ovation from 27,000 people. Later that year, Sky Sports featured his marriage to his long-term partner Harry.
