June 2027 is the biggest month of the year for diversity and inclusion programming. Pride Month runs globally, Caribbean American Heritage Month runs across the US, and Juneteenth, Windrush Day and Refugee Week all land within a fortnight of each other. Volunteers' Week opens the month in the UK.

In sport, the headline is the FIFA Women's World Cup, which kicks off in Brazil on 24 June and runs into late July. Note that there is no men's FIFA World Cup and no UEFA European Championship in 2027. The men's World Cup was in 2026 and the next is in 2030, and Euro 2028 is hosted by the UK and Ireland. The football story of June 2027 is the Women's World Cup.
