June 2027 is the biggest month of the year for diversity and inclusion programming. Pride Month runs globally, Caribbean American Heritage Month runs across the US, and Juneteenth, Windrush Day and Refugee Week all land within a fortnight of each other. Volunteers' Week opens the month in the UK.

In sport, the headline is the FIFA Women's World Cup, which kicks off in Brazil on 24 June and runs into late July. Wimbledon starts on 28 June, the men's Ashes begins at Trent Bridge, and the World Test Championship final is at The Oval. Here's PepTalk's guide to the cultural highlights of June 2027.

Book a speaker for June's awareness days

Gareth Thomas CBE is a strong choice for Pride Month. He speaks candidly on coming out in professional rugby and on living publicly with HIV, and the session works well beyond Pride for any audience thinking about disclosure, stigma and belonging.

June Sarpong OBE suits Windrush Day and Caribbean American Heritage Month, bringing years of broadcasting and campaigning on race and representation to a whole-organisation audience.

Eshé Bernard is a good fit for June events that pair sport with wellbeing, particularly around the Women's World Cup. A professional cheerleader turned resilience and mental health advocate, she speaks on performing under pressure and looking after yourself while doing it.
