Archie Norman, Chairman of Marks & Spencer and former Chairman of ITV, is a prominent businessman and politician. He is notable for being a FTSE 100 chairman and a Member of the House of Commons at the same time. Archie began his career as a management consultant and quickly advanced to become financial director at Kingfisher. He gained recognition as CEO of ASDA, where he turned around the struggling supermarket chain and facilitated its acquisition by Walmart.
In addition to his business achievements, Archie had a notable political career. He was a Conservative candidate in local elections and later served as the MP for Tunbridge Wells. He was appointed Chief Executive of the Conservative Party and contributed to the establishment of the Policy Exchange think tank. After leaving parliament, he founded his own equity firm, Aurigo Management.
