Duncan Wardle

Having worked for Disney for 25 years, including his most recent role as Head of Innovation and Creativity, Duncan now works as an independent innovation and design thinking consultant. His main focus is helping companies establish a culture of innovation and creativity throughout their organizations. Through delivering a range of keynotes, training workshops, and ideation forums, Duncan utilizes his unique Design Thinking process to encourage people to make unlikely connections, resulting in fresh thinking and revolutionary ideas. Drawing on his extensive experience at Disney, Duncan's approach to Design Thinking not only prioritizes the end user in the creative process but also explores new and unconventional sources to uncover insights for innovation. Duncan assists companies, brands, and individuals in overcoming their own expertise and biases, enabling them to think differently and creatively when tackling both big and small challenges. In addition to being a multiple TEDx speaker and contributor to Fast Company Magazine, Duncan also teaches workshops on Innovation and Design Thinking at prestigious institutions such as Yale, UNC, and UF. He has received several notable accolades, including the American Citizen Award presented at the White House, an Honorary Doctorate from Edinburgh University, and the Duke of Edinburgh Award presented by Queen Elizabeth.
