Matt Tebbutt is a British chef and TV food presenter, recognised for his roles on Channel 4's Food Unwrapped and the BBC's Saturday Kitchen. Born on 24th December 1973 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, he moved to South Wales at six months old. He attended Rougemont School in Newport and studied Geography and Anthropology at Oxford Brookes University.
Tebbutt's culinary journey began with a diploma from Leiths School of Food and Wine in London. He gained experience in notable restaurants, including those led by Marco Pierre White and Alastair Little, who shaped his cooking style. After managing the Foxhunter restaurant in Nant-y-derry, South Wales, for over a decade, he shifted his focus to television.
His television credits include presenting Save Money: Good Food, Matt Tebbutt's South Africa, and the Food Network's The Big Eat. He has co-presented Market Kitchen alongside Tom Parker-Bowles and Matthew Fort. Tebbutt has authored two cookbooks: Matt Tebbutt Cooks Country and Guilty Pleasures. He also contributes to food publications and frequently appears at food shows and festivals across the UK.
