Born with cerebral palsy, Nicolas was told as a child he'd never walk, and used a wheelchair until years of rehabilitation had him walking unaided at 17. Growing up alongside his brother, seven-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton, he built his own path in motorsport, raising his own sponsorship and working with his team to accommodate his disability.
