Before joining the Financial Times, Marsh started his career at the Luton Evening Post in 1973 and later worked at New Scientist for six years. He has also authored several books, including "The New Industrial Revolution: Consumers, Globalization and the End of Mass Production," published by Yale University Press in 2012.
