Sophie Raworth is an English journalist, news anchor, and broadcaster known for her work with the BBC. With nearly three decades of experience, she is a prominent figure in British journalism. Sophie is the leading presenter of BBC One’s Watchdog and Crimewatch, focusing on consumer affairs. As a senior reporter, she serves as the main relief presenter for BBC News at Six, News at Ten, and the BBC News Channel, and has been the interim presenter of Sunday Morning since 2022.
Sophie gained national recognition when she transitioned from a regional correspondent in Brussels to co-presenting Breakfast News in 1997.
