Harrison Ward's biography

At a glance

  • Outdoor cook and mental health advocate
  • Overcame depression, alcoholism, and smoking
  • Inspirational speaker on personal transformation
For Harrison Ward, also known as the Fell Foodie, the mountains are his solace, gym, and kitchen. However, it hasn't always been this way. Harrison's journey to leading a life and career as an outdoor cook, hiker, and mental health speaker began in 2016 when he reached a point where he knew he needed to turn his life around. Having experienced depression and suicidal thoughts as a child, he later turned to alcohol as a coping mechanism while at university. He moved into the pub trade in the city and soon found himself overweight, drinking up to 20 pints a day and smoking full time. Eventually, things came to a head in 2016, and Harrison vowed to get sober, remove alcohol from his life, and stop smoking in order to turn his life around. Now he shares his incredible journey to inspire and bring hope to others. If your team are in need of the kickstart to help them overcome any challenge they might face, get inspired with Harrison.
