World, European and Commonwealth 1500m finalist, James is a current Great Britain and Welsh Athletics team coach. He is the Athletics performance director for Cardiff Metropolitan University and is studying for a doctorate in sports coaching. As an athlete, James made a name for himself as a fearless competitor who was never afraid to travel the globe to gain success. Achievements included 4th in IAAF World Indoor Championships (2004) and ran multiple sub 4 minute miles and has gone on to coach 4 athletes already under the magic barrier.
