As the CEO of the Harlem Educational Activities Fund (HEAF) for the past seven years, Ruth leads a 31-year-old college access and success program for underserved youth in NYC. Her work aligns with HEAF's mission of offering a range of educational, developmental, leadership, and personal resilience opportunities. Ruth's own experience with a limb difference has made her a renowned inspirational speaker and coach on diversity, inclusion, embracing uniqueness, and overcoming life's challenges.
