Alvin grew up in Hackney, London, on the 'murder mile' and witnessed firsthand the impact of low income and being from a BAME background on one's life. This experience motivated him to create opportunities for positive change. Alongside his work with organizations like BAFTA and the BBC, Alvin mentors and teaches students at high risk of expulsion from school the art of debating and effective communication. He's a coach who champions providing a voice for the voiceless and creating opportunities for all.
