BlogLoginGet in TouchQuoted in the New York Times as one of the "Stars of Black LinkedIn", born in Lagos and bred in London and NYC living, Abi Adamson is often described as the future of diversity and inclusion thought leaders. As a global consultant, Abi has a proven track record of delivering positive global diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) culture strategies and facilitating DEI sessions for some of the world’s best-known companies, including American Express, Google, Sony Music, Wise, Spotify, Slack, Veolia, Close Brothers, TotallyMoney, Papier and many more.
Abi is experienced in having tough conversations that lead to meaningful change in a way that resonates and creates an impact for the people she works with. Her private talks, workshops, and training are lively and engaging and leave people with a positive attitude toward embracing diversity and inclusivity.
Abi takes people on a self-reflective journey and encourages them to lean into their discomfort when challenging the status quo. Some have walked out of her workshops with aching sides from laughing so much.

These everyday slights perpetuate systemic inequalities and reinforce power imbalances. Microaggressions are hurtful and have a cumulative impact on those who experience them. Recognizing and addressing microaggressions is crucial in fostering a more inclusive and equitable organisation. This session Abi Adamson will break down and help mitigate microaggressions before and after they happen.

But it’s a difficult concept to grapple with - and one that many of us still feel uncomfortable discussing. Many of us are constantly learning to challenge our positions in the world and understand the power imbalances that we are a part of and this session, Abi Adamson helps us break down those misconceptions.
A key enabler of high performance is a culture of psychological safety. This atmosphere encourages fearless engagement, questioning, experimentation, and value delivery rather than fearing, blaming, and spending time protecting themselves.
When psychological safety is present, employees feel safe being vulnerable, taking risks, making mistakes and handling conflict. So, who is responsible for creating such safety? All of us! When we model and cultivate psychological safety, we enable greater transparency, closer relationships, improved collaboration, and better outcomes. In this session, Abi Adamson shows us how.
