Hannah Cockcroft CBE is a world record holder in the T34 classification and holds Paralympic records for the 100, 200, 400, and 800 metres. She gained huge recognition after winning two gold medals at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
Since then, Hannah has continued to excel, securing five more Paralympic golds and 12 World Championship golds. Her achievements make her the most successful British athlete in World Championship history, across both able-bodied and Paralympic teams.
In 2017, she was honoured as the first Paralympian to be named 'British Sportswoman of the Year'.
In addition to her athletic pursuits, Hannah has also appeared as a presenter on BBC Countryfile and participated in various television shows, including The Great British Bake Off and Strictly Come Dancing.
Hannah was honoured for her achievements in athletics with three major awards: she was made an MBE in 2013, an OBE in 2022, and a CBE in 2025 as part of the New Year Honours.
