Johanne Penney is a senior executive leader and the founder of Amp Up Your Voice. She is widely recognized for her work in anti-racism, justice, diversity, and equity. With over 20 years of experience in various professional bodies, she has been a passionate advocate for equality and diversity.

Johanne's expertise lies in speaking about her own experiences and guiding businesses towards inclusivity for marginalized groups. Notably, she served as the Head of Policy at the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges for seven years, where she developed influential education and training policies.

Since 2020, Johanne has also made significant contributions as the Deputy Chief of Staff at BEIS, focusing on Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy. She is well-known for her exceptional communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
