June Sarpong OBE is a prominent figure in British television, with a career spanning 20 years. She began her career at Kiss 100 and later presented for MTV UK & Ireland before gaining widespread recognition on Channel 4's T4. June has hosted significant events such as the Make Poverty History event in 2005 and the UK leg of Live Earth in 2007. Notably, she also presented Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday celebrations in Hyde Park.
Throughout her career, June has had the opportunity to interview notable figures, including the Prince of Wales, Bill Clinton, and George Clooney. She has been actively involved with the Prince's Trust and has supported campaigns like The One and Product (RED). June's contributions to broadcasting and charity were recognized when she received an MBE in 2007 and an OBE in 2020.
As the co-founder of the WIE Network, June has brought together influential speakers to empower women. She is also an author of three books. In 2015, June returned to the UK and has been a regular presence on Sky News' The Pledge.
