BlogLoginGet in TouchSamantha Karlin is a keynote speaker, trainer, and expert on leadership and women's rights. Her career spans both public and private sectors, including tech, politics, and foreign affairs. Most recently, she was an executive at a venture-backed tech startup in Silicon Valley, overseeing global community. Prior to that, Samantha served as the director of global engagement and gender equality at Ashoka, supporting prominent women social entrepreneurs. She has also built coalitions for the Hillary for America campaign, managed the gender portfolio for the US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, developed leadership programs for low-income students at Lumni in Peru, and fought extremism and Anti-Semitism with the American Jewish Committee in New York City. She is a gender equity expert with the New America Foundation.
Samantha holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, specialising in global gender analysis and conflict resolution. Her master's thesis focused on justice for rape victims in post-conflict societies. She has also studied at Yale University, The Harvard School of Education, The Harvard Kennedy School, and New York University in Prague. She is trained in mediation, is a TEDx speaker, and hosts "Samanthropolitics," a political talk show on global politics and women’s rights.
Additionally, Samantha is a facilitator and expert on leadership for the NeuroLeadership Institute, where she uses brain science to promote behaviour change. She is a senior facilitator for the Partnership for Public Service, training senior federal government leaders in various leadership aspects.
