Matt Higgins is the co-founder and CEO of RSE Ventures, a private investment firm that focuses on sports and entertainment, media and marketing, food and lifestyle, and technology. He is also a noted serial entrepreneur and growth equity investor. Higgins is the host and executive producer of the CNBC series "Business Hunters" and an Executive Fellow at Harvard Business School. He has deep operating experience in multiple industries over his 25-year career. Higgins began his career in public service as a journalist and later became the youngest mayoral press secretary in New York City. He played a key role in rebuilding the World Trade Center site after the September 11th terrorist attacks. Higgins has also spent 15 years in senior leadership positions with NFL teams. He co-founded RSE Ventures in 2012 and has built a multi-billion-dollar investment portfolio that includes leading brands in various industries. Higgins is known for his work as a self-made serial entrepreneur and has appeared as a recurring guest Shark on Shark Tank. He has received the Ellis Island Medal of Honor and is a board member of Autism Speaks. Higgins holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and an honorary doctorate from Queens College, as well as a J.D. from Fordham Law.
