Brandon Steiner is a well-known entrepreneur and marketing expert in sports marketing and memorabilia. He started his entrepreneurial journey at 14 by inventing the "everything" bagel while working at a bagel shop in Brooklyn.
After finishing his education, he worked for Hyatt Hotels, helping to open a location in Baltimore, before moving to New York City to manage the Hard Rock Café in 1984. In 1985, he co-founded the Sporting Club, one of the first modern sports bars, which allowed him to connect with athletes for various events.
In 1987, Steiner used his savings to launch Steiner Associates, later renamed Steiner Sports, in New Rochelle, New York. The company initially focused on pairing athletes with businesses for promotional events and grew to represent many prominent athletes. By the late 1990s, it expanded into marketing collectible items. A major milestone came in 2004 with his partnership with the New York Yankees, enabling fans to buy authentic memorabilia and participate in unique events at Yankee Stadium. He also worked with other major sports organizations, including Notre Dame University and the Dallas Cowboys.
After 32 years leading Steiner Sports, he launched The Steiner Agency and CollectibleXchange in late 2019. The Steiner Agency connects clients with exclusive sports properties through strategic marketing events, leveraging over 30 years of experience in sponsorship and brand activation.
Steiner's leadership made Steiner Sports one of the largest sports marketing and memorabilia companies in the United States, with annual sales exceeding $35 million. He is also a best-selling author, known for books like "You Gotta Have Balls," and frequently appears on ESPN NY Radio and the YES Network.
Dedicated to philanthropy, Steiner has helped establish the David B. Falk College of Sport & Human Dynamics at Syracuse University and supports various charities. As a keynote speaker, he shares insights on sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship, inspiring audiences with his innovative approach and leadership lessons.
