Steve Womack is a U.S. Congressman representing Arkansas's Third District since 2010. He is a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee and serves as Chairman of the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Subcommittee. He also participates in the Defense and Financial Services and General Government Subcommittees. Previously, he chaired the House Budget Committee and the FSGG Subcommittee on Appropriations. Womack is known for his perfect voting record and was chosen by then-Speaker Paul Ryan to preside over the 2016 Republican National Convention. He led the bipartisan Joint Select Committee on Budget and Appropriations Process Reform in 2018.
