Margaret Doyle is Deloitte UK’s Chief Insights Officer and a Partner in Financial Services. She is a member of Deloitte’s UK Financial Services Executive and leads Eminence for the North South Europe Financial Services Executive. Her work centres on insights into banking, insurance, and investment management, covering topics like innovation, disruption, culture, and talent. She also oversees the bi-annual London Office Crane Survey. Margaret began her career at McKinsey & Company before moving into financial journalism. She reported on business and finance for The Economist and The Daily Telegraph, and edited Global Agenda for the World Economic Forum. She later covered investment banking for Reuters Breakingviews. Her broadcasting experience includes presenting current affairs programmes for the BBC, such as Today and The World Tonight. Originally from County Wexford, Margaret studied economics at Trinity College Dublin, where she received an Entrance Exhibition and a Foundation Scholarship. She earned an MBA from Harvard Business School as a Fulbright Scholar, graduating as a Baker Scholar in the top five per cent of her class. She has been involved with the HBS European Advisory Board since its inception and is a Fellow of the British-American Project.
