Tina Opie is an expert in organisational change and a strong advocate for inclusion, focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). She has a Ph.D. in Management, specialising in organisational behaviour, from New York University's Stern School of Business and an MBA from the Darden School of Business.
Before her academic career, Tina worked as a consultant and as a commercial banker. She is currently an Associate Professor of Management at Babson College, where she teaches organisational behaviour. Tina has also been a Visiting Scholar at Harvard Business School and held a position at MIT.
Tina founded the Shared Sisterhood framework, which promotes gender and racial equity in organisations through vulnerability, trust, empathy, and risk-taking. This framework helps individuals and organisations embrace their authentic identities and build deeper relationships.
