Lewis Hatchett | Speaker Biography

Lewis Hatchett had an extraordinary career in first-class cricket, defying all odds, before retiring at the age of 26 due to medical advice. Despite being born with Poland Syndrome, which resulted in the absence of his right pectoral muscle and two ribs, Lewis managed to achieve the seemingly impossible by becoming a professional cricketer.

After his cricketing days were over, Lewis shifted his focus to coaching and began exploring various techniques such as mindset training, mindfulness, breath control, yoga, and meditation. He discovered that these practices not only helped him manage stress effectively but also enhanced his performance on the field. Inspired by his own experiences, Lewis founded Sport Yogi, an app designed specifically for athletes, and developed MindStrong, a program aimed at promoting self-awareness, confidence, and resilience.

Lewis now dedicates his time to instilling a strong belief in individuals that anyone striving to improve in their chosen field is essentially an athlete. His philosophy centers around creating not only exceptional athletes but also well-rounded individuals. By empowering people to embrace failure as a natural part of the learning process, Lewis helps them build authentic confidence and equips them with the necessary skills to bounce back and try again.
